Characteristic cycles of constructible functions contain rich information about the geometry of the base space. In this talk, we adapt the theory of characteristic cycles to the study of Chern classes of rank-one holomorphic foliations that are logarithmic to a divisor. We will discuss how to unify and generalize several classical Poincaré–Hopf type index formulas within the framework of microlocal intersection theory. This is joint work with Xia Liao.
