3-14【Igor Uljarevic】On the existence of positive orbits of contact vector fields

An orbit of an autonomous contact Hamiltonian is called positive if it is transverse to the contact distribution and points in the positive direction. In this talk, I will show how one can use a version of the selective symplectic homology to prove existence results for positive closed orbits of autonomous contact Hamiltonians. The talk is based on joint work with Dylan Cant.
